In 2005 I was in my senior year of college studying biology at USF. I planned on going to pharmacy school after my graduation and I knew I would eventually have a great job with a high salary. My family was very proud. I never worked full time while I was in college but often looked for part time or seasonal work for extra cash. This time I took a job selling souvenirs on the weekends at the Renaissance Festival. I didn’t know this job would change my life forever. My booth was next to a free juggling school run by a professional juggler who would give lessons to kids and entertain for tips. He started teaching me to juggle when I wasn’t busy with customers. I became obsessed instantly and practiced constantly. I found I was actually pretty talented at juggling. I graduated with a B.S. in biology but I never made it to pharmacy school. I have spent the last 5 years as a circus performer and coach. I have learned to fly on the trapeze and walk the wire but to this day juggling is my favorite. My family is still proud…
