I’m from morocco, and have been married for 2 years in U.S. it all started one frigid April Monday morning. i heard knocking at the door, it was the immigration. i was picked up and spent 2 days in detention. i married my wife for love and companionship, never thought about filling my paper work for residency. although i was released, i have to deal now with a bracelet that limits my ability of having a normal life. now, i can’t even provide for my wife, i’m out of jail, however, i’m jailed at home. this has been going for almost 7 months now and nothing seems to change even though i started the paperwork process as soon as i was released. it’s funny because many people who married for residency, got they paperwork in less than 4 months after the marriage. is this my destiny? my luck? or a test?

What You Want.

My entire life up to this point has been a game of chance. I have hundreds of stories of how my life has for some reason or another taken a certain path.
I have been traveling on my own since I was expelled from school and went to jail at the age of 17. I can remember sitting in my cell and talking to an old alcoholic who was on his fifth DWI and saying how I wanted to travel the world and see all I could before I got to old. He just sort of brushed me off because where I came from in middle America not many people ever left.
After getting out of Jail I sold my snowboard and bought a one way ticket to Hawaii. Since I was on probation I couldn’t leave the country but I thought Hawaii would be the best place to finish out my dept to society. God was I right.
I found love , sadness , danger, and little bits of myself all the way. Some how the things I needed most seemed to fall in my hands. The Hawaiians have a thing called Huna. Its like meditating , were you think of what you need when you breath in and say what you need when you breath out. By doing this you are putting your needs verbally and mentally into the universe.
I am am now 24 yrs old living in the West Village of Manhattan with my girlfriend. Traveling the world and seeing all that life has to offer.
Like I said , I have literally hundreds of stories of almost dieing , being homeless, almost starving, going from the jungle to the cities of the world.
